JAY OHRT NAMED VICE PRESIDENT, COMMERCIAL LENDING AT REDSTONE BANK

HOUSTON, (February 6, 2007) — Jay Ohrt has been named Vice President of Commercial Lending at Redstone Bank. Ohrt brings 30 years of banking experience to Redstone, with an extensive background in commercial real estate lending. He will be responsible for the development of new commercial business, specifically the bank’s commercial loan and deposit portfolio along with cash management sales.

Ohrt previously served as Senior Vice President of Business Banking at Hibernia National Bank (now Capital One) in Victoria, Texas and as Senior Vice President in charge of special assets and commercial real estate operations at Coastal Banc in Houston and Victoria. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate from The University of Houston – Downtown.

Redstone Bank, with approximately $200 million in assets and three locations in the Post Oak/Memorial areas of Houston, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Green Bancorp. Construction of a new corporate headquarters and an additional branch location is now underway at the corner of Greenbriar and the Southwest Freeway near the West University area of Houston. Upon completion of the new headquarters, Redstone Bank will be renamed Green Bank.
